A cerimônia do Gotham Awards 2025 acontece nesta segunda-feira (1º), em Nova York e inaugura oficialmente a temporada de premiações rumo ao Oscar.
A premiação anual tem o objetivo de destacar as melhores produções e os profissionais do cinema independente, tanto dos Estados Unidos quanto do resto do mundo. Nesta edição, o Brasil ficou representado com o filme “O Agente Secreto”, que concorre em duas categorias.
Entre os destaques, estão o filme “Uma Batalha Após a Outra”, de Paul Thomas Anderson, recebeu seis indicações, incluindo a de Melhor Filme. Em seguida, o drama “Se Eu Tivesse Pernas, Eu Te Chutaria”, de Mary Bronstein, disputa quatro categorias.
A nova produção do diretor Kleber Mendonça Filho concorre nas categorias de Melhor Roteiro e Melhor Ator, com Wagner Moura, que também será um dos apresentadores da premiação.
